Kristin is one of the most experienced and best known female instructors in the US. She has featured on TV, like NBC, and consistently runs sold out women only events. She began her fighting career in high school after discovering her interest in Kickboxing. While living in NYC to attend graduate school, she took up Krav Maga and began training diligently in this new discipline. Her experience in Kickboxing as well as that of being a lifelong dancer greatly aided in her fervent endeavor to advance in Krav Maga. Having previously taught salsa dance in college, Kristin had extensive teaching experience and was eager to incorporate this into her new passion. She quickly gained skill and completed the instructor course, becoming one of the fastest advancing KMI-certified instructors and joining the teaching team at KMI New York as the school’s first female instructor. When she’s not training or teaching, Kristin is putting her dual Masters in Social Work and Public Health to good use as a bilingual counselor for children and teens who have been exposed to domestic violence and other trauma.
